ABOUT US

Tech Safety Lines, Inc., co-founded by Diane Waghorne and Brent Wise, is a fall protection company based in Dallas, Texas. TSL offers unique fall protection gear, rescue design systems, training and consulting. Brent Wise, a 22-year veteran of the Dallas Fire Department, brings his knowledge of Emergency Response, Urban Search and Rescue, and mountaineering to the industrial world. Diane’s persistence is responsible for bringing the Military Compact Descender (MCD II), a personal descending device, out of the military and into the hands of private industry and Emergency Response personnel.

The Military Compact Descender (MCD II) is included in Tech Safety Lines’ self rescue kit, the SRK-11™. Although TSL is a new company – founded in 2002 – we have customers all over the US plus Canada, Venezuela, Cayman Islands, Italy and the UK. We are very proud to be one of only ten companies globally authorized by Bechtel to provide the Competent Tower Climber Curriculum to their employees. We are also authorized training providers for American Tower and Black & Veatch.

Perhaps the most unique quality of Tech Safety Lines is our training programs. Students truly learn from the instructor staff — many are on the Technical Rescue Team from Dallas. These professionals add real life experiences to the TSL curriculum and make the learning environment more real for the student.

Tech Safety Lines rescue kits are modular and versatile. They are designed to be applicable on many different structure types. All that is needed is an anchor point to secure the system and it is good to go! Today, hundreds of kits are in use on various kinds of structures including communication towers, oil derricks, grain elevators, billboards, arenas and stadiums. All Tech Safety Lines, Inc. rescue training programs meet or exceed OSHA and ANSI safety standards.
