Tower Crane Evacuation & Self-Rescue Training
This one-day course empowers Tower Crane Operators with the skills to conduct evacuations and self-rescues in emergency situations, utilizing the SRK-15® (CE and ANSI certified micro rescue kit) and StepWise® Lanyard. Participants will acquire knowledge about hazards, considerations, and procedures to effectively mitigate risks and descend to safety. The primary segment of the class occurs on an elevated structure tailored to the tower crane industry. Once students are proficient in the uncomplicated processes using the SRK-15® and StepWise® Lanyard they will actively engage in multiple simulated crane rescue scenarios.

Each student must have appropriate PPE, including a full body harness, dual leg lanyard and any personal fall protection devices normally used. Students should be prepared to climb an actual structure several times.
Course Duration: 1 day
Class Size: maximum of 6 students per instructor
All Tech Safety Lines, Inc. rescue training programs meet or exceed OSHA and ANSI safety standards.
The Tower Crane Rescue Training course can take place on your job site or at one of Tech Safety Lines’ training facilities.
The majority of this class is held on an elevated structure. After becoming comfortable with the simple processes used with the SRK-15®, students will perform and participate in several simulated escape and rescue scenarios.
