Rooted in the mission of saving lives.
Inspired by the heart-wrenching events of September 11, 2001, Diane Waghorne felt a deep calling to find a way to evacuate people safely from perilous situations. This journey led her to collaborate with Brent Wise, a highly experienced member of the Dallas Fire Department, who brought a wealth of knowledge in emergency response and rescue operations to the table. Together, they created Tech Safety Lines, starting from Diane's kitchen table and fueled by a shared passion for making workplaces safer. Their venture, which began with the acquisition of a crucial military compact descender (MCD) patent, has grown impressively. Today, Tech Safety Lines operates from three training centers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with over 50,000 rescue kits in use across more than 35 countries.
